I have led brave men and women through dark times: impossible deadlines, internet outages, and meetings that should have been emails. Still, I found Sharla’s improv class funny, friendly, and surprisingly formative. I went in hoping to unlock skills that would make communication easier, and through a very public Existential Crisis, I achieved that. Sharla created a space where everyone felt safe contributing, and her coaching was always clear, constructive, and encouraging. She has a real gift for explaining improv concepts through vivid examples, and every class left me feeling like I had learned something practical. The class was fun every week, but it also delivered meaningful value. Sharla regularly reinforced the key lessons, gave us practical ways to improve, and then helped us pull everything together through the final graduation showcase. Getting to perform at the end helped lock in what we had learned and made the whole experience feel memorable and meaningful. I would highly recommend this class to anyone who has ever been promoted slightly ahead of their comfort zone and would like to act like they know what they’re doing.
