About
Sharla Hale - Founder and Artistic Director
I have studied, performed, and taught improv for more than 15 years in Hong Kong, Chicago, and Colorado Springs. Improv is an artform I cannot quit, it is my therapy. I hope to encourage adults and children in Wichita to give it a try and see what it can do for you.
I focus on long-form improv, faced paced play, building confidence through performing, and using the power of teamwork to create unique moments, all completely made up on the spot.
I can't wait to meet you!

"Taking classes at UCA and learning from Sharla was a joyful, informative and amazing experience. I continue to do improv years later using everything I learned at UCA - improv has changed my life for the better!"

" Sharla is a great teacher and the class was super fun! Would do it again!”
Katie, Colorado Springs
"Sharla was a phenomenal teacher. The class had both structure and creative freedom which is often difficult to get in an improv class. It was exactly what I needed to get back into Improv after a while of being on the outside. Definitely recommend!"
